Please please PLEASE never pay to get Android on your Windows Mobile phone.  This is not only very easy to do on your own but free.

Unfortunately, members have recently been alerted to an increasing trend on eBay. Some sellers have been taking advantage of the lack of technical knowledge of others by selling the information that is freely available on sites such as xda-developers, as if the winning bidder has bought the ability to use Android on their HD2.
While the scams seem to be in a legally grey area, it is obvious that such abuse of other people’s hard work to improve a developing community is wrong. I’m sure that all of you reading this would never fall for such tricks but you may have friends or relatives who don’t know that they can get Android without having to pay a hefty fee (often merely for a link to the appropriate porting thread on this site).
